Skippered Charter of Hecate
Hecate is licensed and inspected under UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) rules, to carry up to 10 passengers, and can do so comfortably. Our sleeping accomodation is designed for up to 8 guests in 4 double en suite cabins, with additional berths in the saloon for up to two further guests or crew.
All our charters are skippered and crewed by qualified & experienced professionals.
Charter fees are subject to itinerary and location. We cater for all types of expeditions- from day trips around our beautiful base in North Devon, to 6 month filming expeditions in the far reaches of the Atlantic. See PROJECTS for some of our work. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
ABOUT US
Hecate is crewed by a family of Sailors, Surfers, Adventurers, Artists and Teachers. Our combined lifetimes of exploration, learning and experience, enable us to offer clients unique tailored charters and expedition support. Between us we have crossed the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans. We have surfed and dived on uncharted reefs in the depths of an Irish winter, and in the balmy tropics of Indonesia, Hawaii, the Galapagos, the Carribean - and innumerable places in between. We have meandered up rivers in The Basque country, explored the Atlantic Isles of Azores, Madeira & the Canaries, and tucked into historic harbours in the sunshine of the Mediterranean. We rarely say "no" to a challenge. Our crew is highly qualified in Navigation, Oceanography, Marine Biology, Lifesaving, Surf Instruction, Yoga, Teaching, and Art. Whether you are looking for a gentle sail across the bay, or a true adventure at sea, then tell us your plan and we can probably help!
