Peony

Peony first went to sea in the 1932 Hillyard 9 tonner Windflower, cruising around the coasts of SW England and NW France with the family. She became an accomplished surfer in her early teens, winning numerous national titles, and represented Great Britain both as a Junior and in the Senior women's teams. A qualified surf coach, lifeguard, & dinghy instructor. She was a key crew member on the Great British Swim and has participated in many of the projects that Hecate has been involved in over the years as part of the core family crew.
